Thanks for sharing D!!

I know what you mean, it was hard to unplug. I just recently dug out some old note cards and went to the post office to buy a book of stamps. I have not bought stamps in years! lol

Ok, I'm completely on the same page as you on most of this. I've recently been getting really fed up with my level of "plugged in." But honestly, am finding it very hard to unplug from it all! I'm working on it, it just happens to be at a slower pace than I had anticipated.

But here's the thing - I have two friends who both started out as online friendships who are now my two best in real life friendships! One I met on a message board and we ended up being neighbors - completely by chance - and then she moved away and when our family moved we decided to move to the same town her family moved to. So we are now once again neighbors, go to church together, and see each other quite often. My other friendship started on a yahoo group and we ended up talking on the phone and being friends for a couple of years and then when we moved here last year, she and her husband came - over 900 miles - to help me and hubby get settled! We are great friends but don't get to see each other due to distance but hope to be able to visit each other at least every couple of years. So sometimes those online friendships really can turn into something real.

And another problem I have with unplugging is that it is the main way to stay in touch with friends who do live hundreds of miles away.

So it's a bit of a slippery slope we have all gotten into with all of today's technology. I love it...I hate it...I need it...it's too much....I could go on and on.

Thank you Debylyn for letting me know about mesquite coffee, I have done some research, and we have never tried it before. That must be really neat to be able to grow your own coffee!

Denita~We have bought the Madagascar coffee at Costcos before. It does smell very good!

I've heard of that cat poo coffee ~ eww. We love our Gavalia around here. And hubby has some kind of Madagascar coffee he loves...I can't remember the name, but it is STRONG! I can't drink it, too much for me. But I have learned to love the smell of it, that's good I guess considering I have to smell it often!

Hello, have you every tried mesquite coffee. We have mesquite trees down here and they produce a bean that make incrediable coffee. It is defiantly gourmet. If you are interested in trying some let me know. I harvested alot this year. It is also good as a type of flour to.
